VERY SLOW. Run out of cakes a lot of the time. Waited 20 minutes for a glass of water. Had to ask them to get the bill because i felt as though they had forgot about me. Ok food, but nothing special.
We really like the Jungs In Gerrards Criss is were expecting much better. The place was freezing. Staff were inattentive and the steak was so tough it couldnt be cut. They didnt have steak knives either which didnt help. Poor
Walked in with my family. None of the busy staff cared to greet or seat us, so we did it ourselves. Nobody came over to the table to clear it or offer menus. Went to the counter to get the menus myself, as did the adjacent table. After waiting what seemed like forever I went up to the counter to ask for some service. A moody looking woman with RB Face was busy inputting something into the til and did not look up. Deliberately. After an awkward long minute what appeared to be the manager walked by and I asked to place an order and he said sure. But no service came. Longest 10 minutes of my life and walked out. I dont think it was a one-off either - I seem to recall having surly / slow service before and the whole front of house seems to be geared towards indifference. Best to avoid I think. Went to beech house instead and had a great lunch.
Walked in and stood looking at the deli counter. The owner was talking to a few people behind the counter. Could not be bothered to acknowledge me or ask if I needed any help. I turned round and went to the Beech House and was greeted with a pleasant smile and a quick service.
Surly rude girl behind the counter. Can't tell the difference between brie and Emmenthal cheese. Felt that by ordering I was massively inconviencing her. There are better friendlier places to eat locally I'd avoid.
